Our Sweet Legacy
Established in 1924 by George Charles Phillipps
At Condie's Candies, our sweet journey began nearly a century ago when George Charles Phillipps, a skilled candy maker, ventured into the world of confectionery. Specializing in crafting European caramels and roasting nuts, George's passion laid the foundation for what has become a beloved family tradition. Across four generations, the torch of his candy-making legacy has been passed down, always remaining within the family. We take immense pride in extending this tradition to our cherished customers, treating each of you as an honorary member of our extended family.
Four Generations of Sweet Success
George Charles Phillipps passed the factory to our grandmother and her sisters, visionary entrepreneurs ahead of their era. Our grandmother then entrusted it to our father, Phillipps Condie, and now the legacy continues with us, the fourth generation: Nannette, Michelle, and Karen, carrying the tradition forward.
